Swansea Bus Museum Running Day ( Road run 2) to Limeslade 14/05/2017

In this second trip of the day, we are driven by Steve Lewis on Bristol VR - BEP 978V from the Museum to Limeslade via Mumbles.

Ah remember the VR well. During my last year at school I took the bus from Haverfordwest to Milford Haven every day and that was usually a VR, sometimes an interloper from Swansea would turn up.

I was employed by SWT back in 1997, my first driving assessment was in this particular type of decker, i was terrified as i remember but did ok. Did not know your hobbies included the buses? I also worked for Davies Brothers (remember them?) and Arriva up in Aberystwyth before then transferring to New Quay, they were happy days but sadly the industry is no longer the same and i don't enjoy it no more...Enjoyed your video though Bob.
