As a long time Bionicle Fan, I always felt that the brick built action figure set done with Spider-man looks like the natural direction since Lego seems less confident in bringing back constraction sets. I'm honestly very happy with this. If this gives us a Gen 3, I be all for it! Just needs original head sculpts and it be 100% perfect.

That's cool! At least Lego is acknowledging that their fans love Bionicle and after all, it's the theme that saved the Lego company so it makes sense they'd at least pay tribute to it. Now if only they'd approve the Bionicle projects on Lego Ideas...

I like this and the fact that the stand is referencing Tahu's lava surfing and how Takua is in the set since he is the main character form the first years of bionicle, I like it

It’s really shame that LEGO didn’t used the SCCBS system to make Tahu because I wanted to see how LEGO does in creating large mechs without a pilot

Lewa and Kopaka were always my favorite. The bird-like mask and axe for Lewa, and for Kopaka it was the shield and sword. SO glad it's coming back, but this picture is not making me anxious to run out and buy it.

Absolutely love this homage to the series, and I’m especially excited about Takua’s inclusion. My first Bionicles were Tahu, Gali, and the mctoran Jala from way back.

I saw the leaks for these ages ago and have been itching for the promo to start. With the old leaks I never noticed the little sand/story-pit build on the bottom right!

I know rumors have been floating around for a while about a potential BIONICLE Gen 3. If that does happen, I hope they do these builds and not the clunky ones those recent Iron Man and Spiderman figures had. This is closer in price range to the original lineup! (Or it would be if it wasn't a promo, you know what I mean.)

The only real problem I have with Tahu is the size of his arms and the mask (Takua's is pretty cool)

I think you can make a really cool toa out of bricks, but they chose the smallest flats and it overall looks really wonky
