We are happy to announce the first video of our new Spine Tips tutorial series. This video shows how to setup advanced squash and stretch rigging for a ball with a tail. It gives you squash and stretch just by translating a single bone, ensuring that volume is preserved. The tips for transform constraints that you’ll find in this video are sure to come in handy for other things.

In these short Spine Tips videos, we’ll tackle all kinds of different setups. Whether you are new to Spine or looking to improve your skills, you will find a valuable tip! Feel free to let us know what you’d like to see on the Spine forum.

Try to follow along and do the project yourself using the project files found in the video's description.

Really cool trick! I'm only wondering - is it convenient to animate when the bottom part "disconnects" when the object is squashing against the ground? 🤔
