GL1
Used to refine the internal curve of a bowl and sharpened to a 33 degree negative angle, the GL1 Negative Rake French Curve Scraper is one of the most user friendly scrapers available. The heavy steel cross section prevents flexing and minimizes vibration, making it a favorite with
Glenn's students.

GL2
The GL2 Negative Rake Round Nose Scraper is used primarily to perfect a gentle curve on the interior of a large bowl or platter. The heavy section steel used will prevent flexing and minimize vibration.

GL3
The GL3 Bowl Roughing Gouge is used for the efficient rough shaping of unseasoned wood. Designed to take heavy cuts, the 3/4" diameter bar minimizes vibration and the Masterflute profile prevents the flute from clogging with chips. The 55 degree nose bevel angle will aid bevel contact deep inside a bowl.

GL4
The GL4 Bowl Gouge is used primarily for the initial shaping of dry bowl blanks. The 55 degree bevel angle will help the tool maintain bevel contact when reaching down deep inside a bowl. This tool is capable of heavy cuts but it is also used to refine the shape.

GL5
The GL5 Fine Finishing Bowl Gouge is used for making finishing cuts on the interior and exterior of a bowl. It is sharpened to a 45 degree angle to achieve a very sharp edge. This tool is capable of achieving the finest surface finish and can be used for push cuts and fine shearing cuts.

GL6
The GL6 Bottom Bowl Gouge picks up where other gouges simply can't reach. This tool is designed for one purpose only and that is the fine finishing of the bottom interior of a bowl. The GL6 is more rigid than a standard bowl gouge because of the shorter flute length. It can achieve a superb cut deep down in a bowl.
