Sometimes depression or anxiety is just a normal reaction to an event, but doctors tag you as having a disorder

Of course you are ENTIRELY RIGHT, DR.JOSEF! IT TOOK ME WAY TOO LONG TO REALISE MY SEVERE DEPRESSION CAME FROM THE NARCISSISTIC ABUSE! AND, THAT ABUSE WAS SEVERE, PROFOUND AND PERVASIVE. IT'S HARD TO SEE IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE SO YOUNG AND CAN'T SEE HOW THAT ABUSE ROBS YOU OF A SENSE OF "SELF." THEY ABUSED ME HORRIBLY! IT TOOK ME WAY TOO LONG TO SEE IT FOR WHAT IT WAS!

This is a good video. Anxiety, depression, mania, whatever is it, are all responses to life. No one is feeling depressed, anxious, allat for no reason. It’s easy to not realize the real problem when someone can throw a label over years of one’s trauma.

One of the reasons westerners suffer more mental conditions than other people around the world is due to the fact that most of us don't live within an ethnic community. Ethnic communities offer myriad of comforts not found in integrated societies. So much diversity has left people feeling alone even when surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people. Sometimes small towns in rural America can offer the stability needed but electronic devices have made it nearly impossible for the young to be happy and satisfied. The culture of instant gratification and unending options is detrimental to us.

I know where the suffering comes from [trauma] but don't know how to stop it. MDs are the ones who love labels and pills. Is that okay?

How do patients access their treatment plan and records when the hospital refuses disclosure?

I will take a pass on being comfortable with anxiety and depression I can't physically or mentally accept it but I can treat it and I've exercised and I was an athlete and I've clocked in alot of time.... medication was the best thing thats worked for me. If tryptophan and 5htp or a keto diet or some natural worked Than good but medication. Has been the only thing personally for myself.
