I'd be worried that the conductivity elements might be easily damaged from repeated impact, but then you still have two blunt instruments for striking, so you're still armed even if it stops functioning as a taser. Oh, and don't use them in the rain, haha. Otherwise, if they are really durable, it's a very cool concept for a weapon. I think the first time I saw something similar in media was in one of the Blade movies when I was a teenager, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
