This was the first ever Android phone I had hands on experience with. Back then it was a huge 4.3" display ... Now I use the 'smaller' 5.8" Galaxy S8 😂😋

Watching on my note9, I owned this phone back in the day I loved watching movies on it because the display was the same as a crt tv I found.

This was my first even smartphone, so many memories from this one.
I replaced my smartphone about 5 times now. I remember smartphones being a big investment in those days, but now they've become so cheap and accessible it's like buying a new pair of shoes.

That plastic section where the flash is positioned is also the GPS antenna. I ordered a new one from Amazon and got my uncle's Desire HD GPS working again in 5 mins! 😀

The Desire HD was a modular phone way before the modular system became popular - try doing that with the "Apple inspired" models of today! 🤔

Back to the days when smart phone were not quite popular as these days. I was really impressed by sense UI and almost recon the flip clock on screen as the symbol of smart phone; after I got dhd as my first phone, hold this BIG phone on street, search map and shooting pics, it was way better than ip4 at same times; so sad it was stolen after 3month, still my best experience of a smartphone

One of the best HTC phones I owned. Had a lovely premium feel. Solid metal. Weighty. But quality feel. HTC at its finest. Loved it. Got a Galaxy fold 3 now. And for such an expensive phone I'm not impressed after just over a year. The big for me foldable screen is cracking after just a year and a bit. It's warranty is now gone after a year and I've got it for 3. I would say foldables are the future but I'm utterly disappointed. I've had samsung since the S3. But I think finally samsungs support after a year and a bit has changed my mind. Might go for a pixel next. Samsung don't seem interested in fixing it due to the warranty. And the screen is nearly 2/3 price of the phone to replace. Utter s**t, for nearly £2000

Go for HTC Incredible S!!! Best solution to Desire HD. Better design, longer battery life & reasonable 4" LCD. Thumbs UP!!!

Does it still compare well now to other phones on the market? Thinking of getting one but i'm not sure if it still racks up.

It is running on an out dated version of Android, meaning it won't get any updates or new features anytime soon. Besides that, I still use it and it's working fine 2 years after release!

Im thinkin of gettin this phone, as I've currently got a blackberry, i was thinkin, on HTC desire hd, can u get an app which is like blackberry's messenger or whats app, the iphone one?

just recently got this phone broke a co-worker due to my s4 battery exploding and my screen falling off but when it was giving to me it didn't have the back battery cover. I was wondering with out that will the phone turn on at all or does it need that piece?
