My grandfather left us a 2km long stretch of beach front property, me and my 2 brothers never took the interest until recently. I camped for 1 weeks, I gathered wood in the afternoons, build a bonfire every night, lie on the sand and counted falling stars. The whole 2km stretch or more, all void of people, just me, the waves and the moon. I bring my coffee mug right on the edge of water and wait for the sunrise. Day after day.

I went swimming at 3 in the morning once or twice.

I fell in love. The sound of the waves and my heart beat in complete understanding. I found peace.

I went home and told my dad, "I don't want to sell my share of the beach anymore." He smiled. He knew.
