I did mine yesterday on an 08 Sequoia, same exact setup...you can actually do this without removing the serpentine belt or the fan. The plastic fan shroud can disconnect from the radiator and shift toward the engine just enough to remove the radiator. You'll need a second person lifting the radiator from the top while one person is underneath to work the lower radiator hose connector on the old radiator up and around the fan shroud. You'll have to reverse that process for installing the new one but it's a lot easier than removing the belt and fan. Thanks for all these videos, super helpful!

Yup, just finished. This is a great help but not exactly how I did it. As others have mentioned, the fan shroud just hooks into the lower part of the radiator so it's better to just undo the top bolts and lift it out without fiddling with the serpentine, fan, etc. (What a nightmare!) To ensure the radiator dropped in without damage I bungied the top and bottom of the shroud to hard points to hold it out of the way. I also removed the radiator stop-cock on the bottom since it and the lower hose mount stick out and need a little help getting past the lower fan shroud lip. I did this in an hour, including removing and replacing the skid protector; probably the biggest pain.

Thanks! my only comment would be that if you could mention the wrench and socket sizes that would be very helpful. Thanks again!

Thanks for showing how hard it is to get those lower mounting bolts out. Those bolts can get lost inside of the frame. Also weird angle to get to them.

why didn't you install the belt before installing fan/shroud?

Belt and fan removal are just extra work and you ran into a risk to cause more issue
