Sooo, what’s the lineup? Glad to see your followers have increased. Fantastic job professor. Remember the first followers when you become bigger.

Wow! Awesome news. If I wasn't super sick right now I would be jumping up and down.

I'm loving that top line given how Granlund has held down the fort. It's enticing to think of Ecklund's opportunity taking all those dishes from Wennberg. If Zetterlund can get hot then the Sharks *could* have two legitimate scoring lines with Smith anchoring the 3rd...Not bad.

Got me dancing in my boots! I get it’s smarter to keep Cardwell back in the AHL but damn, dude played with a purpose in those few games with the sharks, I very much like what I see with him.

Here are the lines I would like to see:

Ecklund / Celebrini / Toffoli
Guschin / Granlund / Zetterlund
Wennberg / Smith / Kunin
Goodrow / Sturm / Delandrea

Wennberg, who is very good defensively and great on faceoffs, is there on the third line to help Smith. Granlund stabilizes the second line and can mentor Guschin. Toffoli is the veteran presence on the first line. And Goodrow goes to the 4th line where he belongs.

My ideal lines would be:
Eklund-Celebrini-Toffoli
Granlund-Smith-Zetterlund
Goodrow-Wennberg-Guschin
Dellandrea-Sturm-Kunin

Walman-Ceci
Ferraro-Liljegren
Thompson/Thrun-Rutta

Agreed, better to have Guschin and Cardwell play more minutes in the AHL than 4th line minutes.

Hoping W Smith can make it back to the 2nd line soon

Switching Smith and Wennberg was what I am hoping might happen. The problem is that Wennberg has been pretty good in the dot as of late. It might be better to have him against those stronger matchups. Maybe Smith could play on the wing but I trust whatever reason they have for keeping Smith at center

Hey Professor,
Being a crotchety old dog I am inclined to be suspicious about how healthy Celebrini is but, I am absolutely thrilled that he will be back in the line up. Can't wait to see him and hopefully this time for an extended time. In considering the player moves it occurs to me that the Sharks are again angling to flip some of our veteran assets who are on limited contracts at the trade deadline or around that time. This will net us a handful of mid round picks or other prospects we might be interested in and at the same time make room for several of our promising youngsters to step in for the final segment of the season for an extended look like Bordelo last year.

Certainly at the top of that list is Askarov. I cannot imagine a scenario where we retain all 3 goalies. If that did happen I think they stil will consider bringing up Askarov and go with 3 goalies or put one on IR. I think we will be moving at least one of our defensemen but, I would not be surprised to see two moved now that we see Jack Thompson appears to be ready to make the leap and of course Shakir. I think we will see a similar move among our forwards as we have 3 young forwards who are in limbo and possibly ready for the NHL full time. It is entirely possible that unfortunately one of those forwards we might consider trading is Bordelo. I hope not but, we are starting to see a glut at the forward position and its only going to get worse from here on out with all the effort to draft quality forwards and develop them properly. We will definitely be seeing players at all positions every year ready to challenge for a roster spot which is a great problem to have. The down side is sometimes prospects we might be attached to will be moved to create room and out of respect for the career of the young players.

The Mac attack is back!!
I’m not too upset about that too six it might be a little better spread of our talent. Eklund might just be the key that the second line needs and with the way Granny has been playing he should be a good compliment to Mac.
For the bottom six I’m a little upset that both Gush and Cards are out but at least we know the coaching staff will call them up if the need arises. I think if we see extended periods of bad play from Grundstrum or Dellandrea he might put them in and then after the trade deadline id expect a lot of these guys to make their way back in.

I like the top line together.
Ek and granny with toffoli
Wennberg, celebrini, Zetterlund
Goodrow/sturm with dellandrea kunin

At home Play top line vs top line
But let kunin line take the opposing 2nd line and allow celebrini to work the opposing third line when you can dictate the matchup.
