Singles who want to be loved for who they are have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating in Houston, and will choose someone to marry without ever meeting them. Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches their strong emotional bond developed in the Pods. If they want to make this more interesting, and see whether love really is 'blind', why not throw in some people who are really nice but physically unattractive? I always felt that the premise of the show was disingenuous, since basically everyone taking part was conventionally attractive.

I have liked the majority of the people in the previous seasons, but most of these current participants are so shallow it's gross. I like Johnie and Chris; they don't seem to get drawn into the drama the others create. Stacey is my least favorite, she's nasty, selfish, a troublemaker, a drama queen, superficial and rude. I think Izzy was a much better person without her. Izzy, buddy, you need to bolt fast. I like Milton, he's genuine, smart, sweet and seems like a great guy, but I worry about Lydia. I think she's just using him.

I have watched all the previous seasons and especially love season 4 in Seattle. But season 5, can’t stand to see this train wreck. Not watching any more episodes. Not invested in these couples at all. Netflix needs to do a better job with casting for people for this experiment.

My pet peeve- when someone you like doesn't like you back and your response is "what is wrong with me, this always happens"... it drives me nuts...you go on dates to see if you like the other person, they see if they like you..then if you both like each other you go on another date- this continues until one person decides they don't like the other after getting to know each other better...then you go on a date with another person...it only takes 1 match to be forever so please stop making the situation seem like the world has ended...just my 2 cents
