5 min Strawberry Modeling c4d Tutorial + Quick Tip HD

Hello,
i had to model a strawberry in Cinema 4D for the university, unfortunately i have not found a good tutorial on the internet. Often, the Collision-Deformer is used to press the holes in the berry. This slow down my iMac with i7 processor completely.

I have found that the points Selection of a low poly object is stored when i put it under a Subdivison-Surface and than converts them into a high-resolution Object. Here you can easily push the points with a Soft-Selection, without the computer is slow down.

Hey Daniel, awesome tutorial. I'm having trouble at 2:23 though. When I drag my 'selection tag' into the Cloner selection field, my seeds don't appear anywhere. When I uncheck the 'Enable' box beside 'selection', the seeds appear on the surface, but obviously randomly and not on the selected points. When I check 'enable' back on, they disappear again. It's probably a simple check box i've missed, but I've followed each step of your tutorial to this point, perfectly. I'm pulling my hair out here. Any help would be amazing.

For me everything works fine up until 3:02. Sometimes it won’t even select all the point for me and if it does select it’s not right either. Because when I continue it will make the whole strawberry smaller instead of those “dimples”. Can somebody help me?

dude....u scroll through the menu like crazy..2 seconds for every selected option and one could get better what u have chosen.
your work is great! dont get me wrong. but for noobs it is to fast.
