I played and loved Aeon’s End: Legacy; any comparisons? What did you like more?

I wish I had a regular group to play with. I 've tried Legacy with my son and son-in-law. Now they have kids. 2.5 years later, we're in June of Pandemic Legacy and 2 games into Aeon's end Legcacy. I enjoy playing solo a lot, but I'd much rather play a legacy game with others. All that is just to say, that I'm so jealous of you guys! :)

One thing I was wondering about was the theme. I love watching the Acquisitions Incorporated shows, and I'm hoping that the goofy theme comes through, and from the Dice Tower first impressions video it seems like it does, but if you know the theme is it good? If you don't know the theme, is it still good?

Such a great review on both the game and how it compares within the Legacy genre. Thanks Kira, Jeremy and Ryan! Story and component quality aside (which are both great), your outtro could've been the best marketing pitch for the future of (FFGs) 'Unique Games' system: when you're done with the Legacy campaign, you will own a fully playable unique copy of Clank! Brilliant!

Can this legacy edition be played as a single game format as well? even be played on sunken treasures or other expansion boards?

So this has been addressed by some people in the comments already, but for around $80 bucks are you getting enough for 15-18 hours of a Legacy game...or is it worth the extra $20 to grab Gloomhaven and have a Legacy game that is what 200+ hours of game...Sure these are two completely different styles of gameplay but I'd rather see this system as a $45 base game that gives you 12+ hours and then with a $25-$30 exspansion that adds another 12+ hours and continues the Legacy story

This looks fantastic! But I have a question.... as much as I love games, I’ve never had a chance to play a legacy game. I just don’t have the game group to make it feasible right now...Obviously, Pandemic Legacy is on my list.... but do you think PL should be played first to get a mind set for the meta of legacy games? Would Clank! Legacy be too involved for the first time. Legacy? (FWIW.... While plain Pandemic is great, and one of the games that brought me into the hobby 10 years ago, I have more fun playing Clank!). Great review as always

I didn't like Clank! The entire time I was playing it I kept thinking: "Man, I wish I was playing Dominion." Would you recommend Clank Legacy, if I didn't enjoy the base game?
