I just listened to Bicep playing these at Audioriver Festival in Płock Poland. Middle of the night, POURING rain, everyone absolutely soaked in colorful raincoats, waving umbrellas, throwing their hands up in the air, jumping in the mud, screaming, it was madness. Lasers were refracting in the air, it felt like a miriad stars descending upon us, I was dancing with the widest smile, rain falling on my face, in my mouth, I was wet down to the pants and socks, my phone got soaked and died, I felt like a window to another universe opened in front of me. Without exaggeration it was one of the best moments of my life.

After being besotted with music in general by watching Arctic monkeys headline glasto 2007, and subsequently been drawn into electronic music by bicep and ejeca, it really hits home to see the lads have Glastonbury in their hands. The lads who started my electronic music fascination are literally pulling the pants of the festival that made me fascinated by music, it doesn’t become more poetically just than that. Proud to be Irish and proud to have experienced music. Good night and good bless.
