I grew up in Manila and all I knew about Tinola was chicken tinola. this all changed when I started visiting Visayas and Mindanao and family and friends there made tinolang isda. yummy! i miss Iligan and still Iligan makes the best lechon in my opinion ❤❤❤

Kinilaw malasugi with lots of sili, cucumber, mangga hilaw, kamatis hilaw mixed with grilled meat. Lumpia. Embutido my specialty. Simple adobo batong with ground meat. Yum!

Lapaz batchoy, kaldereta, crispy pata, cansi, kilawin, pinapaitan, diningding, kare kare, fresh lumpia, tortang talong

Sisig was one of the first foods that I tried in the Philippines, also. Looks great, tastes okay but I never liked biting on hard things that I cant chew and swallow. So, I dont eat it anymore. Lechon manok is, bar far, my favorite.

No one can beat Adobo.
Adobo is life, its either chicken or pork adobo.
If i cook adobo sometimes i mixed both chicken and pork plus chicken liver with hard boiled egg with potato.😊

I understand also, sometimes if you're from another country you can get sick because of the the food there. What would you suggest about that? I don't want to get sick.
