Most of you know I love Shoot em ups and especially Toaplan, so when Manshovel picked Grind Stormer for the Tubers High Score Challenge I was really happy as its a game I hadn't spent too much time with..... oh how foolish I was....this game is the definition of hard.
I'm currently sitting joint top in the THSC ....lets see where this run gets me...never even topped the highscore table....man this is hard

I loved this game in the arcade, the weapon system and the shoot control mechanics (wide shot / concentrated shot) is simply genius. Definitely something you want to play with an arcade stick: no keyboard or joypad :D

Hi, I own the pcb and the Megadrive version.. strangley enough the sega port is harder than the arcade pcb in the instance and definitely not the hardest Toaplan game. That goes to Tatsujin Oh my friend!

hello again i just played this on the normal level, my version must be glitzed after about 8 or 9 mins in my ship becomes invincible so i stopped the recording at about 18 min's.

Cool, not tried that one. Some interesting mechanics in there, particularly the Search power-up - was there a reason you avoided it on level 3?

Sorry, the constant flashing of the intro makes this VERY difficult to watch.
