A question....Is there a term like "extraperitoneal organs"???? bcz in tutorial its only intra and reteroperitoneal organs. what about ureters, uterus, my book says they are intraperitoneal organs. so im just confused how to remember which organ is which...

just a question, my classmates and I are having some debate about this currently. Because the kidney has a bare area, could it not be classified as retroperitoneal? Or is it considered intraperitoneal because the bare area is in contact with the diaphragm, and not the posterior body wall?
