=== Frequently Asked Questions ===

Will WP All Import Detect Custom Taxonomies?

Yes. Our plugin will do this automatically, which will allow you to import data directly into the relevant taxonomy fields.

Is There Anything Fundamentally Different When You Import Custom Fields vs. Regular WordPress or WooCommerce fields?

Not really. Once WP All Import detects a custom field, importing data into that field is the same as importing data into any other field.

What Happens If Your Plugin Can't Automatically Detect a Custom Field?

This happens only rarely and only if a WordPress or WooCommerce plugin or theme stores its data in a non-standard way. In this case, just contact our support staff, and they'll steer you in the right direction.

Can I Import Serialized Data into Custom Fields?

Yes. You can do this using either the serialization feature built into WP All Import, or by using its embedded PHP feature to transform the data into its proper format during the import process.

Can I Import Custom Fields From File Formats Other Than CSV?

Of course. You can also use Excel or XML files to import custom fields. In the case of XML, you can use a simple feed or a highly sophisticated one. It doesn't matter. Our plugin will correctly parse it all.

Hi. Great work and nice walkthrough Just a couple of questions.

When I tried to set the language as "Klingon", WordPress produced an error stating: "We are sorry, but Klingon is not currently supported on our platform."
I then tested it again, but this time I used "Romulan" and got the same error.

Is WordPress outdated on Federation alliances or is this a bug coming from your plugin?
Could it be that the Federation is not actually formed yet in our timeline?
Are you using a different WordPress version than v6.2 ("WordPress Quantum Field Edition" for example)?

Thank you.

It's great that you started a Youtube channel! 😀That will be so helpful.

Can you please do a video about how to import Custom Field for Yoast SEO Woo Commerce? I've been struggling a lot with it. I get Title and Description to work. But not focus keyword, related keywords or the the GTIN/EAN13 (barcode) to sync from CSV (my product file).

I've been in contact with Yoast. And they tell me I have to contact you 😇

Hello, how has the custom fields been added on the WBG Books, Book Information? Is that via ACF? Thanks

Hey thanks for that, does this mean that you don't need the ACF extension any longer?
