Hi, my name is Jen I am 44 and live in Connecticut with my husband and 8 year old son. I am a stay-at-home Mom and full-time YouTuber with a degree in business with a focus in marketing. This eye look is super pretty. Wasn't interested in the abh palette when it came out. I like the alter ego one better. It really makes your blue 💙 eyes pop. Very Beautiful outside packaging. ❤ great job Jen.

Although I have every Alter Ego pallet they have come out with, I was on the fence of buying this one just because of the color story. After I saw how you applied the shades, I am sold. Great vid Jen! I think I'm the only person in the world who does not like the Lash Princess mascara. It doesn't hold a curl on me even with the waterproof. Bummer bc the price is awesome!

I've never had any luck or liking for IT CC creams or foundations. Always settles into lines and feels and looks very heavy on me at 57 and oily

One thing I will say about Alter Ego - I always like the palette names and packaging that they choose to convey the color story of whatever they are knocking off. Somehow, it's like I give them more credit for that creative spin than I ever would to any other brand that copies so openly and blatantly. Also.... I am getting so tired of the word 'dupe.' I understand the nature of the industry, I understand when a winning concept proliferates through the open market. It's not a bad thing, it's just becoming repetitive and fatiguing. I wish that term could be more reserved for products like this, which are literal, identical duplicates of something. But again - I get it. Not mad at you for talking about dupes!! It's just the way things are right now! Everybody's out there, DUPIN' IT UP!!!!😆

Great vid Jen. Before you started your tutorial, I was trying to guess which side is the high end. I actually thought the drugstore side was the high end. I think the Alter Ego eyeshadows look better

I agree about Alter Ego formula, it often beats out high end. It Cosmetics doesn't make a shade light enough for me and I've always wanted to be able to use it, I can't wait to try your alternate L'Oreal suggestion. Thanks Jen!!

Sadly, I splurged on the ABH palette just after the holidays and this looks like an amazing dupe! The look you created with it is lovely. ETA: If you are on the fence about this one, get it! I love the color story of this palette so much that it's the only eyeshadow I took with me on vacation this year. It's really versatile.
