The Gilson HM-350M Triaxial / Permeability Master Control Panel, manufactured in cooperation with Karol Warner, combine precise control and a logical easy-to-follow layout for use in triaxial, consolidation and flex-wall permeability testing of soils. And with its integral digital display for setting cell pressure, this rugged unit is ready-for-use with a single Triaxial or Flex-Wall Permeability Test Chamber.

Controls are laid out in a logical order. The upper half controls air pressures while the lower half has controls for fluid filling, draining and pressure. Precision regulators set and control pressures, and high quality zero volume change ball valves are used for positive shut-off.

Located inside the HM-350M’s large capacity 400cc storage reservoirs are two 50cc burettes with 0.1cc graduations for flow measurement, and two 4cc pipettes with 0.008cc graduations for accurate permeability flow measurements.

A bias control feature allows the user to set the effective cell pressure and increase both cell and sample back pressure using only one regulator. This is useful when saturating the specimen and results in no change in effective stress. And it also minimizes air consumption during saturation.

Air, water, vacuum and drain connectors are easily accessed from the rear of the panel. And all connections and tubing for the cell are conveniently accessed from the front of the control panel.
