Actually these machines are made in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. The bucket is too wide for those pens I guess. And if you enter your barn backwards, Ur able to get to that other corner much better. These wheelloaders beat any skid steer in means of comfort, and visibility. Skid steers are quite rare here in nl. Almost every farm has a kind of this wheel loader though

I just bought a case 21f compact loader for my dairy a few months ago. It replaced 3 machines on the farm. Compact loaders are very versatile! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I love these machines! Made and used almost everywhere in The Netherlands! I get what you said, I have been stuck to the wall myself couple of times, but when you get the hang of it, you’ll learn the machine better. Becareful with heavy loads, you could flip if you turn too fast

Impressive machines, Eric. I can see lots of positives, but when many of your feed and cleanup systems center around the maneuvering of a skid steer it’s hard to change.

I can see how over time, you would become very efficient. But the ideal situation would be to have both the skid steer and the articulated machine. The problem you mentioned, getting pinned against a wall, put your bucket down, raise your front tires off the ground and articulate away from the wall.

Your positive attitude makes it all go well, and thats why you get chosen to demo them.

I ran wheel loader for 10+ years. I work for Horst Excavating out of Lancaster. If you end up buying one I would love to give you some tips. You do really well for not running one! Don’t comment much but love you vids and I’m local.

We used a G3500 for a month on a project. Machine really is amazing. Good balance and traction. Also the big black ant on the boom.

I am a machine operator. Love your videos and take wide turns that will make it easier to get in tight places

These machines are popular here in Scandinavia like Skid steer are at your place. But they just keep getting bigger and bigger and works well if you have all new buildings. We have machines from Avant and Multione that are around 1 meter wide and 2 meters long and lift atleast 800 Kg

We also have one 1 the Netherlands the same as almost every farmer, skidsteers arent popular here but we love our giant loaders

I love watching the cows flick the dumping feed off with their ears! So cute! ❤

I watched a guy fix the pivot pin on one of these...definitely make sure that pin is greased...it was a nightmare to split that machine and fix if/when the bushings wear out due to lack of maintenance.
So cool to see new equipment being tested/used...I hope you enjoy the machines...would definitely be a great addition to your dairy farm!
Keep em coming!!!!

For driving a new machine you did a great job. With time i am sure you would be zipping around as nimble as the skid steer. Your review was really informative and thorough. Thanks for a great video Eric.

Edit: Kubota has recently struck a deal with them actually, Tobroco GIANT will build all these mini-loaders under the KUBOTA brand too!

I fit the 2700 in my tool trailer. It lifts pallets of pavers. I leave the escavator and track loader at home for all hardscape jobs now

You did a great job of putting both of the two new machines through their paces. And as you pointed out the larger unit with more reach has better visibility for loading the feed mixer. And with the totally enclosed cab, you would certainly be cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter as the operator VS the skid steer. By keeping this unit out of the manure handling duties, it would reduce the risk of cross contamination to your feed storage areas. But after having said all of that positive. I do think you would dearly miss having your skid loader around to do all of the close work in your barns. I just do not think you can beat having a good little skid steer on a dairy farm for handling manure, and clean up in tight quarters. Not sure if some lower costs for wear and tear on your existing skid loader would be enough to offset the cost of the new Giant loader. But your point about the importance of safety for your family certainly has some added value that should be considered as well. This won’t be an easy decision for you and your family. But I also know that it comes down to the dollars. And they have to work out if it is going to be a good investment for your dairy farm.
Thanks for a great demonstration video!

We use skid loaders for mixing feed and burn through hard surface tires pretty quick...I like how high the wheel loader sits. Thanks for the video nice to see an application that relates to what we would use it for 👍

Excellent review and demo! Great to see Dad putting the machines through the evaluation process. Excellent hearing you talk about visibility and kids on the farm. Certainly, they are both impressive machines! Thanks for the video.
