But this is super important here on this issue, with it being a super religious state. I think we have one of the highest LGBTQ youth suicide attempt rate nationwide. 😢

i'm so glad i watched this bc i learned that chasten is a native michigander! i was born & raised in arkansas but have lived in michigan for 20+ years. i'm so proud of this state for passin the elliott-larsen bill, and i adore pete & chasten for all that they represent. 💙

I live in Colorado where we have great respect for our great Governor who lives in my neighborhood with his husband and kids. I see them at the park, just like any family which cares enough to take their kids to the park. Chasten seems like a cool guy. I'm sure their family will be far better adjusted than 99% of conservative ones.
