Another great review, Steve 👏🏾. We had a 2018 Equinox Premiere with the 1.5l engine which was enough for daily commuting, especially with extra boost from the turbo.

Nice looking suv…but the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 owns this segment. I’d go for the hybrid CRV.

The Equinox is heading into a woodchipper of a market. It has low power even among 4 cylinders, and no hybrid so fuel economy is also below average. The RAV4 is getting a redesign next year with 225HP and over 40 MPG on every model, so you have to REALLY want a Chevy to get this now

Everytime I drive my equinox at night the dash lights turn off and won't turn on until I stop the engine and restart????

As nice as this is, you’re stuck with the base six speaker sound system. No optional Bose system available.

So…it’s dog slow and less efficient than almost all of the top rivals. RAV4, CRV, Forester, etc.
Yep, makes perfect sense to be a GM product. 😆

These are still horribly unreliable and made so cheaply. Good luck getting a fuel pump for it because they’re always back ordered and GM still hasn’t fixed the issue.

Yes, I would prefer the EV, too, but CA will rip me off on registration fees yearly. The hypocrisy of the US govt. has no bounds. Drive an EV but we will charge you the gas you are not purchasing when you renew your registration...
