Hey man, we had the same problem with one of our sheep a couple of years ago. We made a little squeeze shoot to contain her. After about a week she took back the lamb. Good luck and have patience. I really appreciate what you are doing.

Starlight is precious you're doing a great job well if she doesn't accept the baby you may have to milk mama so that you can give her mama's milk fix you up a milk and stand and milk mama so you can feed her mama's milk. Prayers that this works and that after five or six days that she accepts the baby and you won't have to continue doing that or bottle feeding the baby but I know yall will do what you have to save the baby you've gone this far you're not going to stop now. I just went thru this n I'm on day 4...I held the mother the first few days every 2-3 hrs n now she isn't fighting me as much to feed her kid. It's was very stressful when the mother was flipping the baby away I'm glad she is taking to her now🙌🏼Hope everything worked out

Aww! I watched the clip you posted before I watched this. Starlite is a perfect name! In the clip you included in this, I was amazed at how Starlite knew to lay down when Mama walked away. God gave them that instinct in order to protect them when mama isn't around. Baby deer do that also. God definitely supplies all our needs. The hen made her a nice little nest. I loved the video. Starlight is beautiful…….we Had the same issue with one of our goats who has twins….. we would put her up on the milk stand with some grains and had the babies drink that way, she kicked and bucked for the first few but after a week and a half she finally accepted the babies and was letting them drink with no problems 🙌🏼💪🏾
