I saw this movie with my mom who discovered Ryan Reynolds through The Proposal, so I felt like this joke was made for her! 😂

I remember speaking to a friend of mine a couple nights ago about Nicepool. And how he's pretty much Ryan taking a collective dib on MCU actors who cannot go without removing their masks/helmets in the middle of combat to speak whilst leaving all the action to their stunt doubles.

Think about it. Overly designed costume, no mask at all, his overly nice attitude that even puts-off Dogpool, as well as Nicepool's 'I got low bone density and I gotta keep my face safe' line? Written in spades. 10/10 joke. Will be snowboarding again soon this weekend if you know what I mean.

Deapool referenced a Ryan Reynolds movie in a way that makes sense. "Van Wilder", a hot ladies man. And he even changed the name to "(Mild)er" to imply he's like him, but not as good as that other character, so it's also a pun. That makes it clever. But Nicepool referenced a Ryan Reynolds movie with no context what so ever. That's why Deapool was mad. It was lazy and had nothing to do with anything that's going on.

Nicepool is like Disney's take of Deadpool if Fox and Reynolds didn't make the first move. The comic-inaccurate suit, maskless and personality is too PG or family friendly - yeah, this is how I see this.
