Decided to try the Z Fold 3 and other than having to be vigilant about dirt and sand, the phone is incredible. Using it has been like going from old school flip phones to a smart phone for the first time. There's just no way to go back to a single wide candybar style phone.

I also think if Apple came out with a foldable phone it would work and look amazing but be a little expensive.

Looking to upgrade my 1st gen iPad Air in 2022 but can’t decide between the new air and pro models. As for foldable iPhone I’d be seriously interested if done in a smaller form factor like the 12 mini that can still fit, sensibly, in a trouser/jean pocket.

MARK MY WORDS: Apple will never in a million years would make a foldable phone in the same way they would never make a type-C iPhone charging port. Apple makes models that have never been designed before. Like lightening ports, or iPods, iPads, etc. Foldable phones? Why would you want that when you have a mini iPad. These people just don’t get it. Apple doesn’t make what other companies are making. Apple makes what it has never been made before. Get that once and for all.

They already have the best folding technology when it comes to laptops, it doesn’t use glue and is very reliable. We might see similar technology on fold and flip iPhones

Apple does know how to sell. Perhaps if Apple brings this foldable structure into the market, in couple of years this might become regular thing across all the phones. For me, Type-C charging point is something I am waiting for, haha.

The issue I have with these foldable screens is the functional point of them and their life-length - isn’t the screen getting more and more damaged the more you fold it? The two screen fold with a hinge is a better idea. I still think the idea is flawed as I would rather have an iPhone with its single screen and the iPad for doing other things more fitting for a larger screen.

I would definitely get an Apple fold. I think the should call it the Apple turnover. I’m getting an iPad Pro this weekend for school, along with some accessories. I hope I win the laptop, I would definitely need that for school.

I am very skeptical about this approach, the screens on the outside. Screen protectors and cases would be difficult to use and I would guess that the vast majority of users will want them. I guess if the quality/strength of the screen material improves dramatically over the next few years this could change? I plan to pick up the iPhone 14 and will likely upgrade from the standard 13 I have now to the pro model.
