Mombasa Road at General Motors (GM) needs such sanitization! Let the officers from EACC be deployed in major highways and cities. PSVs are now carrying way too excess passengers with the confidence that, 'Karao atakula yake and so they won't check imebeba wangapi'. Unfortunately, this has become a notorious & common habit amongst our traffic police officers. We are approaching Christmas and it gets even worrying on whether they'll be checking these vehicles ama watangoja ile yao

Please officers from EACC come to Mombasa. Here we got notorious ones. By 5 AM in the morning the traffic police begins collecting bribe in a nasty manner. They strategically locate themselves in a bunch of 5 around Bamburi Mtwapa Junction, others in Naivas Nyali, others in Leisure/ VOK.

Incredibly notorious ones and they never care about the condition of the vehicle or the number of passengers on board. So long as the tout stretches his hand and hand over something, they are being released..
They above mentioned places are the points that I pass by on a regular basis but am sure there other locations far from the ones mentioned that the ill vice takes place.

Visit Mombasa and dwell here for months to sanitise this city from these corrupt officers. Bribery on our roads is almost becoming normal.

Unfortunately the driver of the psv wasn't arrested because he also cooperated to actively engage in corruption. It is a good job but again it would have been so excellent if those other senior government officials/politicians who steal millions of Kenyans can be ensued this manner. EACC should pull up their socks and arrest them as well. The traffic officers should not be the only targets. To me, I think they form just 1% of corruption. 99% is in the big offices. Something needs to be done.
