What is interesting is how many outfits you can get out of only a few pieces. In today's video I show how you can take a core outfit and slowly make little tweaks or change outs to get multiple looks. This is an approach I take to create has many looks in my capsule wardrobes as possible. Check out today's video to see how.

OUTFITS:
1.) Legging, White TN, Cloud TN, Strap Belt, SE Chukka
ALT 1: Remove Belt, Change out TN for Shirt, go to JC Western Boot and add Vest
ALT 2: Remove Sweater, Bring back belt, change to JC Tacked boot, replace vest with overcoat
2.) Moussy Jeans, White TN, Strap Belt, SE Chukka, Overcoat
ALT 1: Add Half Zip Sweater, Change to JC Tacked Boot, and switch Overcoat for Blazer
ALT 2: Take off Sweater, keep blazer but button it, layer vest
3.) G-Star Jeans, Bear Tee, Cozy Duster, SE Chukka, Overcoat and the belt
ALT 1: Switch to Tacked Boot and change out overcoat for Vest
ALT 2: Switch to Western Boot, remove sweater and vest, add Blazer and Scarf

So I’ve been thinking about what you’ve given me. Outfit inspiration, sure. Decluttering, check. The biggest thing though I think is confidence. I’ve always stood out here in Houston suburbia. (I was invisible in Vancouver). I’ve “dumbed down” my outfit choices so that maybe people don’t notice the hair or tamed the hair so that I can wear more of my aesthetic. I even tried the BB look for a while and that made me completely miserable. Now? I rock my faux hawk in whatever colour I’m feeling at the time. I wear my chunky boots and baggy pants. I feel Me again. That’s what you’ve given.

Another thing I figured out. I’m not a minimalist, I’m not always chic. I like my sequins and tutus. I even figured out how to get some drop crotch jeans. A size too big of super high rise gives me a dropped crotch of about 5”. I used to do the regional visual for a small division of a big company. I used to have the imagination. You’ve given me part of that back too.

Wow—that belt! Like Berlin in the 20’s. You’ve reminded me that I still have my skinny black suspenders that I used to wear when I was into my shaved head and Punk style decades ago in San Francisco.
