How to Share Game Pass with Other Accounts on Xbox One (Easy Tutorial)

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then select Profile & system - Settings - General - Personalization - My home Xbox.
Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

You can change which console is your home Xbox up to five times during a one-year period. This period works on a rolling basis, starting the moment you switch your home Xbox for the first time.

If you want to share your Xbox Game Pass subscription with other accounts on a different Xbox One, you can do so by signing in to that console with your account. This will allow anyone who is using that console to access your Game Pass subscription and play the games you have downloaded, as long as you are signed in. To sign in to another console, follow these steps2:

Press the Xbox button on your controller and scroll to the “sign-in” tab
Select the ‘Add new’ option
Either login with your Microsoft account using an email address or phone & password you use to sign in or have them do it.
Review the privacy statement and select ‘next’ then set up your preferences

so if a set my Xbox as home Xbox and then I sign in with my friends account on my Xbox he will be able to play my games as well as use my game pass right?

What kills all of this is cloud gaming because the good games can only be played on cloud gaming now under the main profile and it doesn't let you download these games so that other people in the house can play those games under their own profiles.. or am I wrong?

I did everything correctly and I can play downloaded games. I can play certain cloud games except need for speed unbound. It shows that I can play it without the red warning sign. It has the cloud icon on the bottom right. Every time I try to play it says this account does not have permission.

I can’t do anything I’m on Xbox one white one with disc and in 2020 my console the port that turns on the Xbox broke they put a new one and stuff and it was good I recently had surgery so I had my Xbox acount aka my Fortnite. Microsoft Xbox stopped allowing online access sharing between profiles by making the paid account as the home xbox so regardless if the paid account is set as the home Xbox other non paid account will not be allowed to play online at all. This means offline accounts cant even play a lot of games period because you have to sign into Xbox Live to connect to a server to get past the main menu screen.
Further more you cannot activate any kind of gift card or free 1 month Game Pass code anymore as Microsoft have changed it so you must enter all of your credit card information and you must subscribe to Game Pass. These dirty scummy business tactics are why I never renewed my online access and why I got rid of my Xbox and all Microsoft are doing by being greedy is destroying their company and fan/player base and just driving players away from them completely. Rip Xbox you died at the end of Xbox 360. The memories will always be loved and missed daily.
