One thing to know for members of the military is, at least when I was in, is that most charge cards won't charge their annual fees if you're active duty.

Been using the Amex gold for years. You left out the awesome customer service and other perks like extended warranties, travel insurance etc

My gold card offers pay over time now with an 18%apr

Don't fall for that no present spending limit with American Express they have an internal credit limit on their Charge cards

You can carry a balance on a gold card as of 3 or 4 years ago.

you completely left out the $240 in annual credits that make the gold card worth it for a vast majority of people

Instead of everybody paying separate too in friend group! Use the express card and have them give u the money and pay it off with that money they give u!

3000$ in groceries is pretty easy to do a year IF you have a family or are a body builder and make atleast 80k+ a year in a area with a lower cost of living.Be smart don’t get them just because the benefits make sure you can pay it off every month.

Oh yeah... When I become successful that gold charge card will be my baby. I eat at McDonald's all the time. And would love to take my family out to dinner often

I don’t know if this is new since this video is from about a year ago but while my gold Amex is a charge card and has no limit, I can also use it like a regular credit card with a $15k limit and hold a balance on it. Definitely the best of both worlds, it’s such a convenient card to have and one of my favorites to use

I have the gold and platinum card. Neither are charge cards. I see a minimum payment due each month even though I pay my balance off in full each billing cycle.

It should be mentioned that there is no PRESET spending limit. Amex might deny charges they think you won’t pay back or just general risky behavior. It’s not unlimited.

American express gold card doesn't have a preset spending limit, but that does not mean it's unlimited
