Fun fact: the voting age actually WAS 21 in the US at one point. It was lowered to 18 because the Vietnam War draft was drafting people 18 or older. If 18 year olds were old enough to fight for their country, they should be able to vote for their country. It was the 26th Amendment to the Constitution in 1971.

Re: the breastfeeding convo; there are red flags for abuse ALL OVER that conversation. The way she’s continually trying to calm him down and gently defend herself when he’s saying things that are clearly completely unhinged. I feel like the response from someone who wasn’t an abuse victim just trying to protect herself would be to either laugh because it’s so ridiculous it must be a joke, or be like “wtaf is wrong with you, I’m staying with my mom until you get therapy” but this woman is actually trying to placate this psycho???

I really hope he follows through on his threat to divorce her because she and the kid deserve better than this POS.

Fun fact, the deadliest (and also most cruel) snipe in WW2 was a woman. She originally wasn't a combatant till her husband was killed, then she started sniping and was deadly efficient till her new love (cant remembered the specifics but she fell in love again) was killed then she started shooting to maim because the wounded person's screams drew their allies to attempt rescue and that just gave her more targets.

As someone who has microchipped many animals, it always cracks me up that people think they could be microchipped without their notice. The microchip is about the size of a grain of rice and is injected with a 12-15 gauge needle. For non-medical folks, that's between 1.5-2.5 millimeters in diameter... I promise you if someone came at you with a needle that big, you would absolutely notice the difference. XD

My partner was a licensed clinical therapist before becoming disabled. He would get so frustrated knowing that it was impossible to do much for people’s mental health if they’re living in poverty and not having all of their basic needs met. Facepalm for sure.
