Dataflows in Power BI (Lazy Tutorial)

1. Start with a workspace, but not your my workspace...
2. Add a dataflow and start creating entities...

Maybe it's my relative limited knowledge, but is there a way to use dataflows in data warehouse capacity? I.e., Load all of the data from one (SQL) table, then create linked entities to that dataflow w/needed filters, parameters, etc... In other words, load all data from SQL server only once, transform it as many times as needed in the dataflow, then consume it the pbix.

Maybe it's simple and can be done, but I get the linked entities cannot be edited message.

Can i crate Essbase data flow in Power BI ? i cant see any option for Hyperion Essbase
