Story I heard on who is Murphy: Murphy was a guy who had a crush on a woman but back in his time (1900ish) he had a problem, he wanted to invite her to his apt but lived in a studio. It was very inappropriate at the time since it would be like inviting her to his bedroom. He came up with the idea to build something that would fold the bed to wall, eliminating the awkwardness of having women guests.

I have seen a couple murphy beds that have an attached couch on the front of the cabinet and you just move the top cushions and the bed pulls down right over top of it so the space is usefully used whether the bed is up or down. Maybe you could add that feature? Cuz ya'll have such cute couches, you could pick one w/the right dimensions to go with your murphy bed set up. ? I like your furniture more than the ones I saw in the other murphy bed ads because they only had ugly grey couches attatched to white. Nothing creatively weird, so I think that's the job for Mr. Kate! ❤

This made me smile a lot. My uncle and father had a very similar murphy bed when they were children. Whenever I was by my grandparents I slept in it. Even the light... The only difference is that the murphy bed was grass green. I will never forget this tiny bedroom I loved so much. ❤

I love my Murphy bed. Got one that comes with a couch from Breda Beds for my office/guest room and it looks so cute. Perfect for that space.

Also, would be amazing if when folded up a desk flap could open up (where bed was)... extra mile and make a few of those draws "pull out as a section" which is a chair. Have seen different cabinets incorporate the chair as a modular section of the functiknal draws which slots back into the cabinet. Panelling etc is still flush thougbkht and hard to see any difference
