Confront them directly, show them a video that you moved your electronics around to address their complaint. But make sure you talk to them face to face, and insist all future complaints be talked out. No notes, give them your contacts. It will head off any future problems. Nip in the bud, hopefully

Gotta nip that shit in the bud. The first neighbor my family recieved was just 2 days after we moved in and the lawn wasn't mowed yet. We were tired and still unpacking everything when I saw our neighbor sneaking a note into our mailbox. When I told my mother, she confronted her directly. We never had a conplaint again.

You're dealing with what I like to call the "complainer type" of neighbor. Don't let those people influence your life. If you're not making any unreasonable amount of noise, even by law noise that comes from just living there is considered fine. Trust me, they'll start complaining about anything and everything soon enough. They're usually the ones to leave notes as well, because they're scared you'll confront them about their unreasonable complaining.

Try a thick rug to help with noise reduction, i was a single mom with an active toddler living on our own for the first time, and the apartment was new construction we were the first tenants so I looked up ways to drown out not only noise coming from our apartment but from outside noise as well.
