FAQ

What camera and lens do you record with?
I use a Nikon D5500 with a 40mm macro lens for my close ups. For full face, I use the 18-55mm lens.

What eye primer do you use?
I always use a concealer set with a translucent powder.

Are you using a filter in your videos?
HELL NO. I adjust the aperture when I’m filming and it is part of every DSLR camera. Look into it.

Where is the rest of your face?
It’s there. Don’t worry ;)

This is such a great promo for this quad because the colors look so much better in your video then in the sale picture online... If I saw this online I would not have looked twice, (it’s a bad pic!).. You really showcase every shadow you use but the pans don’t do justice to these colors!! They looked even better blended out too. Gorgeous!!!!

They used to only have Makeup Geek in 1 Target in Cincinnati and it's 25 mins from me, but a couple weeks ago they came to my local store which is around the corner from my neighborhood! They also have 3 new quads out from what they had in stores last year. I have the 3 from last year and I grabbed one of the new ones a couple weeks ago too called Bronze Solstice and it's just so easy! I think they're perfect for doing an easy and quick look, guaranteed to blend beautifully and the colors go together beautifully. I'm happy they're in Target, bc I had always wanted to try them but would always forget to order from their site when I had the money to buy lol. I hope this year they add more than just the 3 quads though, so that they have a bigger selection throughout the year. I'll grab this one next 😁

Gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing!! Those quads have all gone on clearance locally to make room for the new matrix system products. I was able to find a sealed palette of "Naturally Nude" and "Joyful Jade" for $10.98 each. Be careful though that they are still sealed as I found most of them had broken seals. Online I think they are still regular price. One Target had already started stocking the new Matrix quad palettes.
