Makes sense that wenshen rushes hydra. He built gore everygame last season bc he liked the survivability and now he goes hydra for same reason. He wants that lifesteal for more outplay potential i guess. Doesnt care about going eclipse first. I said the same thing when i saw everyone building full dmg and no lifesteal on riven. I cant play no lifesteal on riven, i hate it. Gonna do the samebuild than wenshen the goat of riven.

What do you think about how different wenshen and azhy itemize? Azhy mostly goes for eclipse 1st item and I believe WenShen rarely does

Is there any chance that Riot would make hydra and tiamat actually look like they used to before s11 because what we have now looks and feels beyond shit

These are most likely early games, Shojin rush just feels better and from there you can go into anything. Sunderer for that crit burst/heal, eclipse for cheap spike, Black Cleaver if you need the pen.

I can't see Hydra rush being meta when everyone is building sunderer leading to Riven getting stat checked in a prolonged fight because of lack of HP.

Sustain is nice but if you are properly trading with Riven it isn't needed as much.

WenShen said before he liked Goredrinker because he could make more plays and wasn't so squishy.

WenShen also said before certain match ups he had to build Gore first because you would be too squishy to win a fight against certain bruisers.

I get you guys like the active and sustain but don't use hydra as a crutch hoping you can heal up bad trades.
