THE WEATHER DID WHAT?! DALE FARM LAMBING DIARIES 2019 Peak District Sheep farming and camp site

It's March and we are 2 weeks away from the Camp site reopening for the season. Lambing starts early April on the farm. After a brilliant February with way too much sunshine and nice days, we are paying the price now with storms and heavy rain. The fields are very wet. We also have snow! Dale Farm is primarily a Father / Daughter team of John and Joanna and Nick too. We are a small hill farm with sheep, highland cows, a few pigs and a busy camp site in summer. Based in the Peak District we are surrounded by wonderful views.

I just started lambing the other morning, it's a totally different scene here in Ireland. Roll on the next 4 weeks of no sleep, sheep finding new ways to die and a lot of energy drinks 😂
