I don't know how's DR Horton doing in NC, but in Texas it was blacklisted builder. Horrible quality, mold, push backs on warranty and so on.

If anyone wants a TRUE HOME build you can have our home. We've had many issues. Our floors are squeaky, to this date there is still paint on our floors that they carelessly ignored, it takes WEEKS for Warranty to email you back about simple but important/safety questions, there's lot of wasted space with their floor plans and there's no closets for linen, etc.. I could go on and on. We plan on selling after we get a little bit of equity.

We own an all brick ranch house with a full basement built in the 50's. I guarantee you that these new houses are not as well built. It is like a fortress built with quality material.

L and L must have bribed you to make this list because there’s no way they should be on here. Their fit and finish doesn’t align with them building 1M+ homes. Their homes in Chandler Cove don’t compare to ICG’s.
