2021 BMW M440i review - does it drive better than it looks?

It's fair to say that the 2021 BMW 4 Series has startled most people with its bold looks. But what's it like if you dig past that grille and actually take it for a drive? Join me as I give you my thoughts after living with one for a week. Yes, it snows.

Rapidly becoming a favourite channel. Nothing at all to do with the fact that you're driving most of the cars I either like or, as in this case, own (well, M340i xDrive but near enough). Good to watch and somewhat amusing.

Ignore 100% the so called "haters" because what they say means absolutely NOTHING. Besides, they aren't buyers anyway. I think the car is beautiful, especially the rear wheel drive convertible. In the U.S., the front fender M Badges are missing. BMW doesn't give a reason, but they ignore consumer complaints anyway. I guess customer service isn't a priority.

Black on black, with shadow pack does indeed blend things in a little 👀
At least it has one good angle, unlike the 2 Series GC (which is really an F40 1series saloon)
Anyway, there will be no grills at all on cars soon!

Black shadow pack looks cool. I like it. Overall, car looks great. I wouldn’t comment great b58 and driving dynamics. Full pack car is great and I love that grill!!

Biggest problem for this car (apart from that grille) is that M340i exists. It is just as fast and fun to drive, has actual back seats with space for adults and it can come in Touring form if you want that. And is also a beautifull looking car.

The rear wheel is actually smaller, it's not just because of the pronounced hunch.

I've noticed the darker the colour the better this looks and in black it looks stunningly evil. But then if it didn't have that stoopid front grill and wasn't so busy in the rest of it's design, it wouldn't need dark colours to look good. But doesn't take a hater to attack the stupid grill, just someone who's not a bmw fanboi. You even alluded the grill is ugly when you said it disappears somewhat in the black.
