The second part of this clip is factual incorrect in my opinion. I consider myself quite a fundamental atheist myself, but I have a aversion against bad arguments or misinformation.

If you look at all the wars in the world, religion is clearly not the most common reason, not even close. By far most wars have been about expansion/territorial, resources and political reasons. So no, religion is not the main cause of death in this world.

I do agree that the conflict between Hamas/Palestine and Israel is heavily rooted in religion, as different religions feel they have claim to that area which holds religious significance for several different religions.

Though these days it has become much more than just about religion.
