The Yorubas are an interesting people with a rich cultural heritage that can be traced back to many centuries ago. The history of the Yorubas is one of Africa’s most researched and analyzed histories due to the high level of literacy among the Yoruba. They have a system of government that ensures the proper running of the community and the education of their young.
The Yorubas are located in West Africa, with the majority of the population found in southwestern Nigeria. With an estimated population of over thirty to forty million people, they are one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa.

I wasn't expecting captivating history to cover my tribe;I'll like to add that the Yorubas aren't conservative and are more liberal, like in an extended family you'll find out that some are christians, Muslims and heck even pagan/traditional. And in these families you'll find Muslims going to church, christians in mosque and vice versa.
The Yorubas also take pleasure in songs and parties, and pride themselves in education, innovations, and trade, although I'll say the Ibos have them beat in modern industrialization, as the Yorubas today are more focused on books (some are going back to it). Good job on the video though.

I am not Yoruba but my grandmother comes from the Fon tribe. Their language and culture is a mixture of Ewe and Yoruba.
