Apple Silicon Mac November Event (2020) - The Most Exciting Event Yet!

Apple is on track to have their third event in a row with an Apple Silicon based November event. But can we expect to see both a new MacBook Pro and Apple Silicon based redesigned iMac at this event, and what advantages will Apple silicon have when you compare it to older intel based Macs?

I want to see a return of the MacBook 12”, now based on ARM. I love my little machine, even for all its limitations. The thought of one based on Apple’s ARM processors is a dream.

I dont think apple will keep the same design since apple silicon is a change that isn’t physically visible people might just take for granted what is actually a giant change, apple could risk people seeing arm macs as an s update, which by no means is, this is like iPhone 7 to X so imo not only does this new mac deserve a new design but needs it

I just got a 2020 27" Intel iMac. I know Apple will charge me an arm and a leg in the future for the RAM upgrades I want. I agree Apple is going to change the game but it will cost us big time.

Even I don’t use any Apple laptop / desktop, I too am excited to see the new processors.

As this could result in even better processor chips for future iPhones, and what if Apple decided to provide the iPad a modified ARM processor instead of the ones used for their phones?

Even though a lot of iPads and iPhones use exact same processors, I assume the iPad chips have to be adjusted somewhat differently due to different size / different features etc. So who knows, a revamped iPad chip could happen, would be exciting
