Healthcare Accreditation Champion

During the Covid-19 outbreak, our health accreditation champion introduced one of the twelve accreditation standards groups “Infection Prevention Control” to their facility. Through a self-assessment against Infection Prevention Control, they have made changes on how they deal with infectious patients including COVID-19 patients.
The USAID-Enhancing Quality of Healthcare Activity works with champions at both public and private health facilities all supporting efforts to improve the quality and safety of healthcare services through meeting accreditation standards.
