Shoei packs a punch with the attractively-priced RF-SR. It’s Snell 2015 certified and DOT approved, and the multi-ply matrix shell comes in four different sizes.

A dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner inside is designed to provide superior impact protection and pathways in the EPS flow air through the helmet.

A large chinbar intake vent and two brow vents let the cool breeze in while two exhaust vents at the back expel the warm stuff. Shoei has wind tunnel-tested the RF-SR for optimum airflow and aerodynamics.

The CWR-1 Shield protects from 99% of UV rays and comes equipped with a shield lock and is Pinlock system ready. The QR-E base plates make for quick shield changes and the spring-loaded design aids in creating a wind and waterproof seal.

Inside is a fully removable, washable and replaceable comfort lining. Multi-layer cheek pads are available in a variety of sizes for a refined fit.

The size large weighs 3.6 pounds. Fit is comfortable, and the interior is plush. I am typically an XL, but But my long oval head-shape does develop a bit of a hot spot on the forehead when wearing the RF-SR for longer periods.

I’ve seen reviews that say very quiet and others says too noisy 🤔🤔
Looks like a must have in the blue.
