This video shows how to insert, remove and set up the PHYSICAL SIM card on an iPhone 15 PRO MAX. It uses a single or double physical NANO SIM card, not just an e-SIM.

If you got your iPhone 15 PRO MAX in the US, and/or you don't have a sim tray, you can't insert a physical SIM, only an e-SIM unfortunately! If your tray does not have the spring on the bottom, it can't take a dual sim.

Question though, how's the battery life of dual sim iPhones given that there are two active sims? Is it just like the usual 1 sim iPhone? or does the battery go down a tad bit faster?

I got an iphone 16 pro max from dubai. The one who bought it was supposed to buy singapore variant but according to my serial number, It's USA varient. However, it has two physical sim slot. But they have inserted something looks like a nano sim in one of the slots and also have inserted another chip. They said, it's for network stability. However, I can use another sim slot. But I need to use both. If I detach them, it stops working. When inserted one sim, my settings two sim cards are installed, but one of them is outta service. So, what is the issue with it? How can I fix it? Is there any issue with the country lock?

From the “Mobile Service” screen, there does not seem to be any option to add the eSIM. Fair to assume then that the physical dual sim version does not support eSIM?
