According to some math (if I'm not wrong), the 5.5k price difference (in Canada), based on average consumption and gas price (Toronto), will return only after 200.000 km, whent you'll probably have to spend a lot of money replacing the hybrid battery. Still not quite convinced it is a good option in terms of $ saving.

The lowest base model is the EX ??? Wrong !!! Gillman Honda in Houston has an even bassier LX.
