In this session we will understand Nmap TCP Scan. TCP scan uses 3 way handshake (SYN,SYN+ACK,ACK) to scan the network.

We use the command for Nmap TCP scan:
#nmap -sT -p21 target_ip address.

This simple scan will give you the result as the port 21 is open, filtered or closed for the service.
