I used your last 100 books to create a goal for myself to read them. I'm definitely not finished, BUT I found a ton of new (to me) authors and some truly great books. I was so excited when I saw this pop up!!! Here we go adding 100 more to my TBR!! :)

I read Twisted after you talked about it on the channel, and it was so informative. Finding Me was excellent - I did the audiobook, so Ms. Davis narrated it herself. I always knew she was a talented actress, but seeing what she went through and how she became the woman she is today, gave me a new level of respect for her. I recommend it to anyone who will listen.

I would love a list of "authors to read" sort of like: this author is great and you should read literally anything from them but make sure you've read at least 1 of their books, ya know? Xx

Oh man!!! I thought I would have read more of these. I have only read 13. Thank you for putting your list together. I love to know your top books to read. 🎉
I have added lots to my TBR and think I’m going to focus on the non-fiction titles first.

Great list. I find it so hard to pick "best" books, so here are some books I (re)read recently-ish that stood out:
Unraveller by Frances Hardinge (which just won a BSFA award for Young Readers),
The King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner (3rd book in the series, definitely read in order and go in blind),
The Binding by Bridget Collins (great audiobook reader, lovely writing style, dark content),
When The Angels Left The Old Country by Sacha Lamb (first book to win both a Stonewall and Sydney Taylor award), and
The Way Back by Gavriel Savit (like Unraveller, good for younger YA readers, if they like dark folktale vibes).

1) Dinner at the homesick restaurant 2) Medicine River 3) Wuthering Heights 4) Angela's Ashes 5) My Antonia 6) Middlesex 7) Charlotte's Web 8) The rats of Nymph 9) From the mixed up files of Mrs Basil E. Frankweiler 10) Girl, Woman, Other 11) Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha 12) The Joy Luck Club 13) And then we came to the end 14) The Nickel Boys 15) 26A 16) Such a Fun Age 17) Tales of A Fourth Grade Nothing 18) Hidden Valley Road 19) Anita and Me (highly recommend the movie as well) 20) Beyond Indigo 21) I know this to be true 22) Come, Thou Tortoise 23) The Solitude of Prime Numbers 24) My Brilliant Friend (actually the whole Neapolitan series) 25) When I was Puerto Rican (recommend. the whole series of memoirs)

I clearly had a really hard time narrowing down, there were more I could think of but these are the ones I think about a lot
I also really enjoyed the Watson's Go to Birmingham 1963 when I was a child! It's an awesome book!

There are so many on this list that really made an impact on me as well. I highly recommend Clint Smith’s “How the Word is Passed: A Reckoning with the History of Slavery Across America” for an impactful read.

I read Confessions of an Alleged Good Girl earlier this year because I saw you talking about it in a video and I absolutely loved it! Those characters will definitely stay with me for a long time.
There are a few books here that I have to add to my tbr 😊

The main books I'll try to get anyone to read are The Fifth Season, The Paper Menagerie, and Braiding Sweetgrass.
I appreciate that you of course include comics and manga! I also love Watchmen, and I really need to revisit Nana sometime!

A book I’m currently telling everyone to read is Tomb of Sand by Geetanjali Shree. It looks intimidatingly chunky but the chapters are very short and the prose is beautiful. It would be a great book to represent India in your around the world challenge!
