Quick tip. Put your meat in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes before you grind. It grinds better and is better for your grinder. You should actually put the grinder head in the freezer too for the same amount of time. Makes it all less messy and meat sticks to the grinder less.

Great recipe. Thanks for sharing. For those of us that are budget conscious, maybe don't use ribeye steak to make a ground beef chorizo. Ground beef doesnt need a fancy cut. Ribeye costs about $12 a pound right now while a nice 85/15 grass fed ground beef runs about $6 per pound

Yummy!! I will definitely be making this, but probably with a mixture of ground pork and chicken…the boyfriend and I don’t really do beef and he doesn’t really do pork! But, since I’ll cut it with chicken, we will both be happy!!
