I've never seen a accomplished classical & technical musician who was also an outstanding rhythm and blues player who could improvise.
Of course that goes vice-versa. I'm sure those musicians exist but I've yet to see one.

When you ask these girls where middle C is and they show you the key, take out a retractable tape measure stretch it out from the end of the keyboard and tell them that's how you will remember it.

Brendan's blues style reminds me a lot like Jerry Lee Lewis....then I watched it a second time, and ironically I noticed that he actually mentions Jerry Lee Lewis.
Also a little like the rock group, the Doors, Ray Manzarik's keyboard style in the number, Riders on the Storm. Nice performance here!

Thanks for posting this, as it was enjoyable to watch, as I'm always trying to learn a little more of my blues, jazz, and ambient style on piano.

I forgot how good she was when Brendan began to play. As a beginner, I wish I knew how he gets his left hand to do the repetitive rhythm and his right hand doing something completely different, both independent of each other.
